This is the promotional film for KDIAF 2022. I was the director and the storyboard artist on this project. The film is about a boy and a dog, against his parent's words, trying to unlock a door in the corner of his parent's mansion.

Alternative pitch for the film
The main idea of the story is that the character is trying to open a door that contains great horror without knowing. But instead of hinting to the audience with lightning and creepy paintings, I wanted to have monsters cowering in their space inside the mansion, toys expressing despair but incapable of stopping the despairing inevitable. As if the house is alive, and reacting to what the character is doing.
But the concept is too dark for the film, so I changed it.
A creature collects a pile of flesh by the door and slowly retrieves it back.
Some ideas when I was exploring the idea of "great horror behind the door".
I wanted to have a shot to showcase some medieval-stylish patterns. So I tried to sketch out some antique vases with cryptic contents on them.
